Designed for vertical exterior wood applications, EXTERIOR 450 topcoat provides your project with a tough, protective outdoor water-based wood finish. Ideal for fences, patio furniture, garage doors and entrance doors, and is fortified with UV absorbers* to help minimize fading and maximize performance. Its built-in mildewcide retards mold and mildew growth. Tough and flexible, it will resist the expansion and contraction of the wood through hot summers and cold winter. Can be used as a tint base to create custom colors. Warning: We do not recommend Ext 450 stains or topcoats for exotic woods Ipe, teak, or other dense oily woods that will get exposure. *The UV additive in 450 Clear will protect the integrity of the film, but will not prevent the wood from changing color from sunlight.
